New Delhi/Noida, 2nd December 2022, Trivitron Healthcare and Amity University & Institutions (AU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Noida on December 2, 2022, to bridge the gap between academia and the MedTech industry through joint research and training. This Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") will go into effect immediately and will remain in effect for five years.
As part of the MoU, Trivitron Healthcare and Amity University will synergise on multiple initiatives in cooperation for the joint research and training in the areas of Pharmacology, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, Healthcare Devices, Molecular and Stem Cell Research, Applied Sciences, New Born Screening, Next Generation Sequencing, Molecular/Serology and Advanced Diagnostics.
Trivitron Healthcare and Amity University will also have collaborations in Joint research, Joint projects, Dissertation projects for AU students at Trivitron, organising of joint seminars and conferences, Joint publications, any collaborative efforts that both may deem fit from time to time, and Trivitron Healthcare will offer internships and projects to students from Amity University.

Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science, Technology and Innovation Foundation mentioned that, “Amity University is contributing to Aatmanirbhar Bharat and emerging as cradle of innovation with focus on affordable and accessible health technologies.” He said that, “we are extremely pleased to have signed this agreement with Trivitron Healthcare to create the joint research and training facility. In addition, the Memorandum of Understanding will be essential for building the capabilities for end-to-end development of any futuristic technology and projects in healthcare and MedTech in collaboration with a global partner.”
The MoU is expected to significantly improve the quality of collaborative research and training, and topics for future research collaboration will be identified and noted in additional research-specific agreements that specify the proper and pertinent contributions from both the organizations. They can include helping to develop initiatives involving both parties and providing access to its research laboratories. Research proposals are submitted jointly to national and international organisations in order to get funding for their shared research goals. Specific work will be done by Amity University and Trivitron Healthcare in the areas which have been identified. In doing so, this crucial alliance will integrate expertise from both entities to accelerate the quality of research and development in healthcare and life science and, thereby, bridge the skill gap.
